The CAM 2 Contact Angle Meter from SCI Automation Pte. Ltd. is a manual contact angle meter suitable for measuring the surface contact angle on substrates to verify their surface energy. This system is ideal to assess the performance of a plasma cleaning process. CAM 2 may be installed in cleanroom environments. With a straightforward user interface, CAM 2 has powerful editing software, which allows quick measurements and automatic report creation. The CAM 2 includes an integrated high-resolution GigE monochrome camera and a red LED backlight. The camera is mounted on an adjustment fixture that allows camera focus, height and tilt regulations. The substrate holding table is vacuum-ready and supplied with a vacuum ejector. A simple connection to CDA will allow the creation of a vacuum to support the test specimen. Mechanical clipping fixtures are also supplied. The table has a unique mechanical design allowing precise vertical travel throughout the Z stroke with four corner lead screwdrivers that assure good planarity at all Z positions. CAM 2 includes a sub-microliter dispenser capable of delivering very small drops of DI water for the tests. This unit is software controlled and driven by a step motor with a high step to μl ratio.
