METZNER EM 100 SERIES PATENTED PROCESS FOR AUTOMATIC CABLE SHIELD PROCESSING

In its E-Mobility portfolio, Metzner offers low-cost individual stations for the entry into high-voltage cable processing. For the first time the EM 101 Module provides a mechanical solution for the removal of the cable foil without interference with the cable screen. Automatic processing of high-voltage cables also requires the attachment of different components of the plug system. The Metzner EM 102 takes care of this part. The EM 103 model performs opening and cutting of the cable screen with a patented process which ensures that there is absolutely no contact with the interior insulation. The EM 103S offers the functionality of the established EM 103 for the requirements of smaller cables up to 8 mm diameter. These low-cost models cannot be linked into an automation line and is only equipped with limited traceability functions.
